Leaps of Faith
Statesboro School of Dance provides exemplary dance training for children and adults. The studio attracts students from Bulloch and surrounding counties. The school is recognized as a leader in classical dance education for all ages and levels in Southeast Georgia.
The goal of Leaps of Faith is to provide special needs children with quality ballet instruction and foster a love for dance. In addition, this class addresses skills with which many children with special needs often have difficulty, including balance, bilateral coordination and integration, strength, problem solving, and social skills.
This program has provided adaptive dance classes to children with a variety of diagnoses, including Down Syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, and more.
For the 2020-2021 season, this class meets Mondays from 5:45-6:30pm and is taught by Miss Kate Lamb.
To facilitate traffic, please enter the property from Zetterower Avenue and exit onto Donaldson street. Rear parking available for walking students in.
Please do not post videos of your child’s dances to sites such as YouTube without the instructor’s permission.
Parking is available for parents and students drivers behind SSOD. Please, be respectful of the Split Ends’ business and customers by not using their parking lot.
Volunteers are an integral part of this class and will be available if your child requires one-on-one assistance.
Ballet: Dancers will wear Violet leotards, Violet ballet skirt, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Hair pulled up.
Class-color leotards with SSOD logo can be purchased through SSOD.

Tuition and Fees
Individual Registration: $35.00
Family of 2 or more: $45.00
Tuition: $55 per month.
Tuition is due at the 1st of each month. A $5.00 late fee will apply to payments received after the 10th. Please drop off checks in the white box at sunroom entrance. A $35 service fee will be added to all returned checks. Parents or guardians are accountable for all tuition & fees unless a release form is signed officially withdrawing a student from SSOD.
